Success and failure are not one-dimensional. You must judge both whether the objective is correct and whether the execution is working. Trying harder only helps when you are pointed in the right direction.

A team can ship a polished feature on time, with clean code, strong adoption, and efficient delivery, and still fail if the feature advances the wrong strategy or solves a problem that does not matter.
